The GovAI UK Winter Fellowship 2027 – Research Track is a three-month research fellowship offered by Governance AI (GovAI) in London. The program is designed for researchers and professionals interested in building impactful careers in the field of AI governance and policy.

Fellows will conduct an independent research project focused on AI governance, while engaging with leading experts, policymakers, and researchers in the field. The fellowship provides opportunities for professional development, knowledge exchange, and networking within the growing AI governance community.

Fellowship Details

Responsibilities

  • Conduct an independent research project in the field of AI governance.
  • Select a research topic in collaboration with supervisors at the beginning of the fellowship.
  • Produce a research output such as a report, white paper, academic paper, opinion article, or policy analysis.
  • Participate in seminars, workshops, and discussions on AI governance and policy.

  • Work full-time on-site in London throughout the fellowship period.
