The UST Scholarship is a fully funded program for international students who wish to pursue Master’s or PhD degrees in science, technology, or engineering. The scholarship aims to attract outstanding students and support them in conducting advanced research that contributes to innovation and sustainable development.
Deadline
Applications open twice a year:
Spring Intake: closes in November each year.
Fall Intake: closes in May each year.

Benefits
Full tuition fee waiver.
Monthly stipend:
Master’s students: approx. 1,200,000 KRW per month
PhD students: approx. 1,600,000 KRW per month

Eligibility criteria
A Bachelor’s degree is required for Master’s applicants.
A Master’s degree is required for PhD applicants.
Strong academic record.
Proficiency in English (TOEFL/IELTS recommended).
Must be a non-Korean citizen.
Must be willing to study and conduct research full-time at UST.
