Fully Funded Fellowships Hansen Leadership Institute in the USA

Hansen Leadership Institute offers a number of fully funded fellowship opportunities which will be launched on July 1-23, 2023. This is a yearly experiment in international cooperation and will last for a three-week. People from warring countries start as awkward roommates. They leave the program as close friends with a mutual resolve to make peace between their people. You will receive training from human rights activists and experts who have extensive knowledge and experience in these areas.

If you get this fellowship, you will have:

• International airfare.
• Room and board, and all programmatic costs.

Please note: If selected the only cost to you will be the fees incurred in obtaining a passport and spending money.

You must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Upper-division undergraduate with 2 years of college/university.
• Or a graduate student with a professional interest in international relations, diplomacy, international economic development, or related fields.
• Must have demonstrated leadership potential outside of the classroom in the community, nation, or region.
• Have an academic adviser verify in writing the candidate’s English proficiency.
• You must submit two (2) letters of reference from an academic adviser or professor, and from an NGO or community organization with whom you have worked.
• The selection committee will begin reviewing international student applications in February.
• The results will be emailed to all applicants in mid to late March.

Please note: For Non – U.S. Students

• If you are selected as a participant, you will be provided with all the necessary documentation to assist in your U.S. visa application.
• Preference will be given to those who have never visited the United States.
