Training Opportunity for Young Egyptians within Ikteshaaf Civic Education Program

Ikteshaaf in Egypt is receiving applications for the 4th Ikteshaaf civic education program which will be implemented online beginning July 2nd until September 9th, 2021.

Ikteshaaf believes in the value of civic education in building possibilities for youth that develops their leadership and citizenship capabilities through various value-based and gamification educational programs.

This training program consists of nine modules and eight group mentorship sessions following each module that focuses on Ikteshaaf's nine values of citizenship: innovation, knowledge sharing, tolerance, empathy, social responsibility, hypothesizing, authenticity, achievement, and faith.

• Building civic leadership capabilities of youth to transform their communities,
• Being engaged in a knowledge-sharing space with other civic leaders who share the same values, ownership, and accountability towards transforming their communities. 
• Learning about citizenship values and their importance in social responsibility and community building.
• Participants will receive a certificate of participation upon completing the program.

• A maximum of 12 fellows who are between the ages of 18 - 24 years old
• University students or recent university graduates from all academic backgrounds and diverse career aspirations are welcome.
• Committed to discovering their potential to become civic leaders in their communities and beyond.
• Ikteshaaf participation guideline is that you only have a maximum of two days of absence in order to continue to participate with the program and to receive your certificate of participation.
• The two days of orientation are mandatory to join the program.
