Opportunity description

The University of Wroclaw offers an exchange program to candidates from all over the world about the theme "Democratic Development in the 20th and the 21th century". This is considered a great opportunity to bring together doctoral students and candidates to learn and discuss the research and disseminate their results.  

Benefits

If you join this program, you will have:

  • The covering for the participation costs by the University of Wroclaw within the STER program financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange via BWM IQ Project.

Eligibility criteria

You should follow the following terms:

  1. It is open for local and international participants. 
  2. There are 20 places available for doctoral students and candidates.
  3. Candidates should be 10 from the University of Wroclaw and 10 from institutions all over the world. 
  4. Eligible applicants can be from disciplines of political science, sociology, history, law, philosophy, communication, as well as mathematics, computer science, or economics.
  5.  Broad interests in democracy and an inquisitive mind representing their respective disciplines are required.

Please note:

  • The Summer School 2021 will feature 3 lectures and last 5 days.
  • Accepted applicants will be notified by July 30, 2021.
  • Definite information on the lecture and program will be confirmed in the last week of August 2021. 
  • The participants are expected to cover their travel costs.  

Selection Process:

You will be selected by way of a competition:

  • assessment of the abstracts of proposed presentations.
