The Eyelands Book Awards is an international book competition based in Greece and open to writers of any nationality. Participants must be 18 years old or have parental consent to submit their manuscripts. All manuscripts must be written in English.
Categories include:
- Poetry
- Novellas
- Short story collections
- Novels
- Children’s and YA books
- Historical fiction/memoir
- Graphic novels
Submission Fee:
- 40 euros (standard fee).
- 30 euros for early bird submission (until September 1st, 2024).
Prizes:
- Grand prize for published books: a five-day holiday in Athens plus a special handmade ceramic designed especially for Eyelands Book Awards.
- Grand prize for unpublished books: translation into Greek and publication from Strange Days Books.
- Additional eleven prizes, one for each category, also winning a specially designed handmade ceramic and a book from Strange Days Books!
