Anthology Magazine is now accepting entries for the Anthology Personal Memoir Competition 2026, one of the international awards and competitions open to writers and creatives from around the world, with a focus on the art of personal memoir writing.
The competition invites participants to write a personal non-fiction piece reflecting on an experience, memory, or meaningful period in their lives, presented in a distinctive literary style. The submission must not exceed 1,500 words. There is no specific theme, giving writers the freedom to choose the story or experience they wish to share.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants are eligible to participate if they:
- Are from any country or nationality worldwide.
- Are of any age, as there is no age limit.
- Submit an original piece written by themselves.
- Submit a non-fiction work.
- Submit a work that has not been previously published.
- Write the piece in English.
- Ensure that the submission does not exceed 1,500 words.
- Do not use Generative AI to create the text.
Entry Conditions
- The submission must be a Personal Memoir.
- The work must be based on real experiences or events.
- The maximum length is 1,500 words.
- There are no restrictions on the topic or writing style.
- The work must be original and previously unpublished.
- The submission must be written in English.
- The use of generative AI is not permitted.
- Applicants may submit an unlimited number of entries.
- Each work must be submitted through a separate form and requires a separate entry fee.
- The writer retains the rights to the work in accordance with the competition rules.
