Opportunity description
The CDAF Small Grants program, funded by IREX, supports alumni of U.S. government exchange programs in implementing projects with local or global impact. The program aims to strengthen community diplomacy, foster cross-cultural collaboration, and support civil society through creative projects in areas such as culture, media, democracy, and innovation. It provides an opportunity to apply skills gained during exchange programs and make a tangible impact on the community.

Eligibility criteria
- The team must consist of two or more alumni of U.S. government exchange programs.
- The primary team leader must be a U.S. citizen and 18 years or older.
- The secondary team leader can be U.S. or non-U.S. citizen.
- All team members must be alumni in good standing from government exchange programs.
- U.S. Department of State or IREX staff and their families are not eligible.
- Clear project plans and a detailed budget must be submitted as part of the application.
