Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) has opened applications for the 10th edition of the Istanbul Youth Summit 2027, an international youth summit taking place in Istanbul, Türkiye, from January 25 to 28, 2027. The summit brings together young people from diverse nationalities, academic backgrounds, and professional fields.
The summit focuses on leadership, innovation, international cooperation, cultural exchange, and sustainable impact, and aims to help young people develop their skills and transform their ideas into projects and initiatives that address challenges in their communities.
One of the programme’s key activities is the International Social Project Competition, where participants develop ideas and projects related to global challenges and the Sustainable Development Goals. The programme also includes mentoring sessions, leadership discussions, cultural activities, and networking opportunities with young people from different countries.
Benefits
Applicants may compete for a limited number of funded spots. Selected participants will receive:
- Full coverage of the programme fee.
- Accommodation during the programme from January 25 to 28, 2027, in accordance with the programme terms.
- Airport transfer to the hotel on arrival day and transfer from the hotel to the airport on departure day.
- Participation in all summit activities.
- Access to additional activities designed specifically for funded participants.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants may apply for the Istanbul Youth Summit 2027 if they:
- Are between 15 and 40 years old.
- Are from any nationality worldwide.
- Come from any academic discipline or professional background.
- Are interested in leadership, social impact, and youth engagement.
- Are willing to collaborate with participants from different cultures and countries.
- Are not affiliated with any extremist or violent organization.
- Have no criminal record.
- Are able to attend the summit in Istanbul during the specified dates.
- Are not required to submit an IELTS or TOEFL certificate.
