Opportunity description

Lincoln University invites domestic and international students to Lincoln University Doctoral Scholarship. It is one of the most prestigious postgraduate scholarships, and an important step towards growing your future. This scholarship was established to provide opportunities for students to pursue PhD study and research.  

Benefits

If you join this scholarship, you will have:

  • A maximum of three years' stipend with a current value of $28,000 per annum. 
  • The amount equivalent to the New Zealand students' tuition fee for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, you should meet these criteria: 

  1. Available to New Zealand citizens or Permanent Resident Students, and International Students.
  2. Students who are in New Zealand before the closing date of 1st October 2021.
  3.  Have a conditional offer of admission at Lincoln University. 
  4. OR have registered into the Lincoln University Doctoral program no more than six months prior to the closing date of applications.
  5. A minimum grade point average equating to an A- (80%) average is required in order to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  6. You should meet the university’s requirements for registration as a full-time PhD student.
