Opportunity description

The Poetry Society's major prize for new writing. The National Poetry Competition is open to everyone over 18 worldwide. Prizes include:

  • First prize: £5,000.
  • Second prize: £2,000.
  • Third prize: £1,000.
  • Seven commendations: £200 each.
This year's judges are John McAuliffe, Romalyn Ante, and Stephen Sexton. Deadline is midnight on 31 October 2024.
