Opportunity description
The iJungle platform announces its online art competition for the year 2023, which will provide the winner with a cash prize of $2,500.
Benefits
- The work of all winning entries will be featured in the iJungle Illustration Annual 2023. This book will be freely available to all online, reaching thousands of artists, illustrators, actors and critics from all over the world, giving the winning members a strong international recognition.
- The works of all winning participants will be displayed in the Foundation's new online gallery, for all interested people from all over the world to see.
- The winners will be introduced to art directors through the annual e-book that the Foundation sends to art directors worldwide.
- The competition will also distribute the following prizes:
- A $2,500 cash prize for the best participant in the competition (to be chosen from one of the gold medalists).
- One gold medal for each category (6 gold medals).
- Up to 20 Merit Awards per category (up to 140 Merit Awards).
- Gold medalists will be interviewed for their work and will be heavily promoted on social media.
Eligibility criteria
- Participants from all countries can apply for this opportunity.
- Each participant can participate with only five works.
- Images created by artificial intelligence (AI) cannot participate in this opportunity.
- Participants must be the original authors and copyright holders of their work and agree that the Organizing Committee has the right to refuse to accept works that could be considered morally, politically or religiously offensive.
- Categories you can participate in:
- Books in the form of print and digital picture books for children, teens and adults, textbook covers, interior illustrations, interactive books, works of fiction and non-fiction, and artists' books.
- Editorial works in the form of print and digital magazines, newspapers and other publications.
- Business in the form of print or digital advertisements, posters, greeting cards, annual reports, brochures, flyers, toys, vinyl toys, plush toys, CDs, DVDs, board games, cartoons or websites etc., that have been commissioned commercially .
- A new talent class for all students of illustration and art from around the world.
- Personal promotional work, which includes any unpublished work or any work of art, personal or experimental.
- Comics works include print or digital comics and novels graphic.
- A jury of some of the world's best painters and art directors will select the winners.
About the iJungle contest:
The iJungle Illustration Competition seeks to celebrate the global artistry in the field of illustration. Based in Europe, the competition is open to painters, actors, students and teachers from all over the world. All works of the winning participants will be featured in the iJungle 2023 Illustration Annual.
