Opportunity description
EUROPEAN DESIGN announces its international online design competition. Since 2007, a group of people, consisting of publishers, journalists, editors, and academics, have gathered annually to collect and evaluate the best designs on the continent through this competition.
Benefits
- The competition offers 3 types of awards: gold, silver, and bronze.
- The Gold Award is awarded to highly outstanding works and the winners of this award receive a gold trophy during the awards ceremony (a maximum of two gold awards can be awarded in one category in very rare cases).
- Silver and Bronze award winners will receive a diploma during the award ceremony (a maximum of two Silver and two Bronze awards can be awarded per category).
- Silver and Bronze award winners can also purchase a trophy, which they will receive by mail or at the awards ceremony immediately after the ceremony.
- The works of all winners and finalists will be published in the ED-Awards catalog and on the ED-Awards website.
- Winners will be notified at least one month before the awards ceremony but will not be officially announced before the awards ceremony.
- Entrants who do not win will also be notified via email no later than two weeks before the awards ceremony.
Eligibility criteria
Participating entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Design quality and excellence.
- Originality, artistic quality, and creativity in design.
- Suitability: The extent to which a design serves the specific purpose for which it was designed.
- Ease of use on different platforms.
- Readability of the design content.
- The clarity, ease, and speed with which the reader can decipher every letter and word in the design.
About EUROPEAN DESIGN:
The European Design Competition holds an annual festival held in a different city each year, at which prizes are distributed to the winners of the competition. This festival is the perfect opportunity for the most creative people in the community to come together, measure their performance, and celebrate together.
