UNV offers an online volunteer opportunity to collect data on digital transformation in Libya. UNDP provides the necessary support to decentralized processes in Libya through many different projects and activities. The program is looking for specialized volunteers to collect, translate and analyze data on the state of digital transformation in the Libyan context. Online volunteers will share their time and expertise on a voluntary basis and will not receive any compensation or financial compensation. This opportunity will help you develop your knowledge and skills and you will work in a multicultural environment. You will receive an electronic certificate of appreciation once you complete the opportunity.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Collect the necessary data about digital transformation in Libya.
- Discuss and define the research objective, data collection methodology, and various main sources.
- Identify data and examine its sources.
- Collect data using specific methodology and tools from selected sources.
- Translating relevant information from Arabic to English.
- Create/prepare a results report.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with technical terminology related to digital transformation, the Sustainable Development Goals, the United Nations and the broader international development context.
- Previous experience in data collection and analysis.
- Previous experience in translating documents from Arabic to English.
