Online Volunteer Opportunity to Support the Designs of UNDP Egypt Social Media Cards and Documents at UNV

The United Nations Volunteers Program is offering an online volunteer opportunity to do the design of various cards and documents related to social media for the United Nations Development Program in Egypt. Digital participation is playing an increasingly important role in UNDP's response to global shifts in communication, access to resources, support and development. Effective use of different digital channels will help deliver the key messages of UNDP, through relevant content and different interactive experiences. This will allow different individuals to communicate with the software directly, thus creating valuable relationships with both online and offline users.

• The Foundation is looking for an online volunteer to work under the supervision of the Communications Analyst of UNDP in Egypt and in close collaboration with the Communications team to produce 20 social media designs for the various programs of UNDP in Egypt. s/he will also be responsible for:
• Gathering necessary information about the background required for the designs such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines etc.
• Support the preparation and creation of social media content for UNDP in Egypt.
• Create initial designs based on stated requirements and then discuss with the communications team.
• Develop designs as per agreed requirements.
• Prepare all designs in different formats to fit both Twitter, FB, LinkedIn, Instagram Post and Instagram Story.
• The design must follow the organization's design guidelines which will be shared with online volunteers before the work begins.

You must have:

• Professional experience in graphic design.
• Previous experience in document design.
• In-depth knowledge of graphic design applications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree in graphic design or any related field.
• Proficiency in English.
