The UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (UNDP IICPSD) is offering a 12-week international remote volunteer opportunity to support participants in the Innovation Campus program through training on Machine Learning, Data Science, Generative AI, Git & GitHub, Docker, and Deployment.
The volunteer will review and improve existing training materials, prepare presentations and pre-recorded practical demonstrations, and deliver 8 live online lectures featuring practical explanations and live coding. The role also includes answering participants’ questions and supporting them throughout the program.

Duties & responsibilities
- Review and improve 8 existing training presentations.
- Develop content covering:
- Data Analysis
- Modelling
- Generative AI
- Git & GitHub
- Docker
- Deployment
- Prepare pre-recorded presentations or demonstrations for the required topics.
- Deliver 8 live online lectures.
- Provide practical examples and conduct live coding during the sessions.
- Answer participants’ questions and support them throughout the training.
- Prepare brief documentation outlining the updates made to the training materials.
- Coordinate with the SDG AI Lab team throughout the assignment.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants should:
- Be at least in the final year of a bachelor’s degree.
- Preferably be studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Have a strong programming background.
- Have previous experience in teaching or training.
- Have an advanced level of knowledge in Data Science.
- Have good knowledge of Python, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
- Possess strong programming skills.
- Have at least a working knowledge of English.
- Be able to deliver live sessions and interact effectively with participants.
