United Nations Volunteers programme is offering an online volunteer opportunity: Raising awareness on Online Volunteering in Yemen.
Duration:
12 weeks / 16 - 20 hours
Duties & responsibilities
- Understand the difference between the Onsite and the Online Volunteering services
- Understand the UNV Online Volunteering (OV) service by attending the induction training by the online volunteering focal point.
- Provide support to mangers and staff of NGOs to register for OV service if they are eligible.
- Prepare monthly reports on progress.
Eligibility criteria
Required experience:
- The online volunteers need to have a degree in Communication, English language, Translation International Business, Economics, Arts, IT or related area
- And should be familiar with the Yemeni context
- Have general experience with activities related to development and project management
Languages:
- Arabic, Level: Mother tongue, Required
- English, Level: Fluent, Desirable
