Duties & responsibilities

  • Review UNICEF’s annual report in English.
  • Correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  • Identify formatting issues, repetition, and broken text sections.
  • Verify the consistency of terminology, numbers, and headings.
  • Prepare a Track Changes version highlighting the suggested edits.
  • Write a summary of observations and issues that require further revision.

Eligibility criteria

  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills in English.
  • Experience reviewing institutional reports or United Nations reports is considered an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, formatting, and editorial quality.
  • Familiarity with UNICEF or United Nations writing styles and terminology is considered an added advantage.
  • Ability to complete the work efficiently within 48–72 hours.
