Opportunity description
The World Health Organization (WHO), through the United Nations Volunteers program, announces a national volunteering opportunity in Tunisia to work as a Report Developer and Data Analyst for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
This opportunity aims to support the organization’s meetings and travel systems by developing reports, analyzing data, preparing dashboards, and improving knowledge management and technical support processes.
The volunteer will work on UN premises in Tunisia and will contribute to developing accurate and actionable reports that help WHO teams make data-driven decisions.

Duties & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and automate reports using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Cognos, and Excel.
- Collect, clean, and analyze data to extract trends and practical insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define reporting requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within reporting systems.
- Prepare and present findings clearly to support decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and standard reports.
- Carry out data analysis and data visualization tasks.
- Improve existing reports and troubleshoot related technical issues.
- Document reporting processes, methodologies, and approved standards.
- Train end users on how to use reports and dashboards.
Eligibility criteria
- The applicant must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- The applicant must be a Tunisian citizen, legal resident in Tunisia, or have refugee status in the country of assignment.
- The applicant must have relevant experience in information technology, computer science, data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field.
- Applicants with a secondary education certificate must have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Applicants with a bachelor’s degree must have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in French is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Working knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage.
- Experience in report development, data analysis, or business intelligence is required.
- Knowledge of tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Excel, and ETL processes is required.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Previous experience with WHO or a United Nations agency is an additional advantage.
