Opportunity description

University of Southern Denmark, SDU offers a partially funded Danish Government Scholarship for international graduate students supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science to certain applicants in recognition of the important investment that overseas students make during their education.

Benefits

The scholarship consists of two parts:

  • A full tuition fee waiver.
  • Grant to help in covering the living costs amounting to 438$ per month before taxes. 

Eligibility criteria

  • To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a non-EU/EEA citizen enrolling in one of the following Master's programs in Sønderborg with a program starting in September:
  • MSc in Engineering - Mechatronics.
  • MSc in Engineering - Electronics.
  • The Faculty of Engineering has the possibility to award highly qualified applicants to other programs in Sønderborg for a scholarship as well.
  • The scholarships are awarded to the best-qualified candidates based on the grade point average of their Bachelor’s degree.
  • To be considered for the scholarship all necessary documentation must be present on your application at the time of submission (1 February).
