The University of Edinburgh is announcing five partially funded scholarships covering 66% of the tuition fees for the university's MSc in Internal Medicine program. The scholarships will be available for one year to support current and prospective students, as well as those currently enrolled in the 2025-2026 academic year.

Eligibility criteria

  • Applicants must be current/continuing students, or have previously held an offer of admission to one of the following specializations:
    • Internal Medicine (Online) (MSc) (Part-time)
    • Internal Medicine (Online) (Postgraduate Certificate) (Part-time)
    • Internal Medicine (Online) (Postgraduate Diploma) (Part-time)
  • Selection for this scholarship is based on academic merit and your personal statement.
  • Your personal statement should describe your current contribution to local and/or national healthcare organizations in your country, and how your successful participation in the program will enhance your contribution to healthcare services in your country.
  • You will be expected to:
    • Work in the healthcare sector in your country after completing your studies.
    • Use your knowledge and skills to enhance and develop this service.
    • Promote clinical and academic links between medical universities, teaching hospitals, healthcare organizations, and research institutes in your country and the University of Edinburgh.
    • Maintain high academic standards.
    • Adhere to university regulations and good academic practice.
    • Support the internal medicine student community by offering a session at the Student Club on global practices.
    • Submit a CV to be posted on the Student Grants page.
    • Students enrolled in graduate programs longer than one year may apply, but please note that this funding is for one year only, so students are advised to budget appropriately.
