Opportunity description

The Jordanian Youth Council launches the “Sada Al-Shabab” program, a national program that aims to engage young people in studying real-life challenges in Jordan and transforming them into practical, applicable solutions. The program brings together youth within specialized sectoral tracks, such as education, health, economy, technology, culture, environment, tourism, youth and sports, agriculture, transportation, industry, and society, with the aim of strengthening youth participation in creating solutions and contributing to shaping public policies.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Participate in one of the sectoral tracks available within the program.
  • Study real-life challenges related to the selected track.
  • Work within a team of young participants to develop practical solutions.
  • Attend meetings and discussions related to the selected track.
  • Contribute to analyzing the current situation and collecting ideas and proposals.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare applicable national solutions.
  • Participate in documenting the work outcomes and submitting the final recommendations.
  • Commit to the spirit of teamwork and constructive dialogue throughout the program.

Eligibility criteria

  • Applicants must be young people interested in community participation and developing solutions.
  • Applicants must have an interest in one of the sectoral tracks available in the program.
  • Applicants must be able to work as part of a team and participate in group discussions.
  • Applicants must be willing to contribute to studying challenges and transforming them into practical solutions.
  • Preferably, applicants should have a spirit of initiative and the ability to lead or organize.
