Eligibility criteria
To apply, applicants must:
- Meet the admission requirements for the PhD programme at UNNC.
- Typically hold a Master’s degree with a grade of at least 65% and a Merit classification or above under the UK system, or an equivalent qualification.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to an Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) or above, or an equivalent qualification.
- Applicants with a First-Class Honours Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification from a strong academic institution may also be considered.
- Have an academic and research background relevant to the selected project.
- Meet the English language requirements of the relevant department or research field.
- Submit an IELTS score or an equivalent international English language test result with the application and before the deadline.
- Obtain approval from a potential supervisor before applying.
