In this role, you will support research and analysis related to global artificial intelligence policies and regulations, while contributing to the preparation of reports and knowledge materials used within the United Nations’ global dialogue on the future of technology and digital governance.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Conduct research on global AI policies and governance frameworks.
  • Attend virtual workshops and summarize key discussions and outcomes.
  • Prepare analyses and reports on artificial intelligence regulatory frameworks.
  • Develop maps, charts, and visual infographics.
  • Contribute to the preparation of policy papers and briefs for international publication.
  • Support the development of the white paper on AI governance.
  • Collaborate with international teams and experts in a cooperative work environment.


Eligibility criteria

  • Previous experience or a strong interest in AI governance, digital policy, or technology.
  • Strong research and policy analysis skills.
  • Ability to summarize and analyze complex information effectively.
  • Excellent report writing and policy drafting skills in English.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary international team.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Experience in designing charts, visual graphics, or infographics is considered an advantage.
