Duties & responsibilities
- Clean, maintain, and care for sea turtle tanks and feeding areas.
- Assist with egg collection and nest monitoring during the nesting season.
- Support the release of baby sea turtles into the ocean when opportunities arise.
- Collect and record data on turtle populations and species.
- Participate in beach cleanups and marine environmental conservation activities.
- Assist with environmental awareness campaigns for local communities.
- Support maintenance, organization, and daily operations within the sea turtle conservation center.
Eligibility criteria
- Open to applicants aged 16 years and above.
- No previous experience in sea turtle conservation or marine biology is required.
- Strong interest in environmental conservation and marine life protection.
- Ability to work in field-based settings as part of an international team.
- Willingness to live in a relatively simple island environment.
- Enthusiasm, commitment, and active participation in daily program activities.
