Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK) is a public Finnish research university located in the city of Seinäjoki. Officially established in 1995, it hosts around 5,000 students, with approximately 10% being international students from over 50 countries. The university is known for its focus on applied education and innovation across fields such as business, culture, agriculture, healthcare, and technology.
The SeAMK exchange program offers students from partner universities the opportunity to study for one or two semesters in a variety of programs at both bachelor’s and master’s levels. Fields of study include international business, Nursing, Cultural Management, Technology, and Social and Health Sciences. The program is conducted in English and managed under bilateral agreements between higher education institutions.
Application Deadline
Students must be nominated by their home institution by 15 April for the autumn semester and 15 October for the spring semester.
After nomination, students must complete their application via the SoleMove system by 15 May (autumn) or 15 November (spring).

Eligibility criteria
- Must be nominated by the International Office of the home university under a valid exchange agreement
- Must enroll full-time in an eligible exchange programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s level)
- Proof of English language proficiency at minimum B2 level (according to the CEFR)
- Selection of a study unit relevant to the student’s academic field (Learning Agreement)
