SkyRise 2023 International Architecture Competition with Prize Pool of $20.000

Impact Competitions is accepting entries for SkyRise 2022 International Architecture Competition. It invites participants to design an innovative and iconic skyscraper structure that has the impact of establishing itself as a landmark in its surroundings. Participants are to design a skyscraper building on a plot area of 12,000 sq. mt, with no limitation to height. Participants are encouraged to explore new technologies and building materials that can be incorporated into their designs. The proposed designs should exhibit unique aesthetics and a well-planned spatial organization. The participants are to consider, how the design will impact its context, as well as the over- all spatial planning for the users, environment, and urban sprawl.

Participants are to implement innovative building systems and methods for sustainability in their designs to create an extraordinary architectural masterpiece that is not just bold in form but also contributes to a green future.

The site can be located in any part of the world. The existing skyline and surrounding context are key elements that are to be taken into consideration while designing.

Participants are free to set the program for the building. The skyscraper proposed must add value to the city in which it stands. With the notion to enhance the comfort of the individuals occupying the structure, participants can justify their designs concerning the surrounding infrastructure, socio-economic development, etc.

The skyscraper should develop a relationship with its surrounding in a manner that not only benefits the community but the entire city as well

• Publication: All the awarded design proposals would be published on various international architecture publications and impact competitions blog.
• Certification: All the awarded proposals would be receiving a special certificate as well as the participants would be receiving a participation certificate.

1. The submission deadline is 11:59 PM IST 19th October 2022. Submissions
2. sent after this deadline will not be considered.
3. The minimum age for participation is 18 years.
4. Participants can be Architects, Interior Designers, Students and Freelancers, Designers, etc. It is not mandatory that the participant and teams belong to an Architectural background.
5. One registration will only allow to submit one design proposal.
6. By paying additional registration fees, one can submit more than one design proposal.
7. Participants are not allowed to contact the Jury in any form. Such action will result into a direct disqualification. The Jury’s decision would be final and incontestable
8. Participants are not allowed to publish or disclose their project anywhere before the final winners are announced.
9. By registration in the competition the participants fully agree with the competitions terms and conditions.
10. English must be the language of communication on the design proposal. Any other
11. language will not be accepted will result into the disqualification of the team.
12. Particpants will be held accountable for the data they provide to the organisers. It is the participants responsibilty to provide the true data while the registration process.
13. Participants should be accountable for the work they submit and it should not infringe any third party intellectual rights.
