The Jan van Eyck Academy in the Netherlands is offering two research fellowships through its Future Materials program to support artists and designers working in the field of sustainable materials research. The fellowship is intended for individuals whose artistic or design projects focus on developing bio-based and sustainable materials or creating alternatives to toxic and fossil fuel-derived materials commonly used in art and design. Fellowship Areas
- Fashion & Textile Material Fellowship: Research on bio-based and sustainable materials for fashion and textile applications.
- Future Materials Fellowship: Development of sustainable materials or production processes that can be applied across various fields of art and design.

Application Fee
- A €50 application fee is required to submit an application.
- Fee waivers are available for eligible applicants from selected countries.
Fellowship Duration : The fellowship will run from January 15, 2027, to December 15, 2027.
