International Caricature Competition and a Chance to Win Cash Prizes

Raed Cartoon is pleased to announce the opportunity for participation in a competition; The 3rd International Caricature Competition, Mugla 2022. It has been organized in Turkey for national and international and its theme this time is"Fire" which considers the fundamental revelation in the history of humanity. Submit your creative cartoons about the effects, reasons, and results of the Fires and you will become one of the winners. 

If you are among the winners, you will have one of the following prizes:

• First Prize: 725 USD
• Second Prize: 510 USD
• Third Prize: 365 USD
• Honorable Mention (3): 145 USD
• 2 Candidates who are Under the age of 18 (10-18) : 75 USD special award  
• Oğuz ARAL Special Prize: 110 USD

Please note:

• Accommodation and transportation expenses of the award-winning participants under 18 and a parent will be covered.

You should follow these terms:

1. The competition is open for who are amateur or professional throughout world.
2. The caricatures including out of public decency, containing offence and politics, undesirable and harmful declarations cannot attend the competition.
3. The relatives of the jury mustn’t attend the competition.
4. Drawing technique is free.
5. Caricature size must be at least A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) and uttermost A3 (29.7 x 42 cm), must be 300 dpi, jpg.
6. Caricatures that will be sent must haven’t been get any award.
7. You can send 5 caricatures maximum.
8.  Any participants under the age of 18 one of his/her parents’ accommodation and transportation fee will be covered.
9.  Any caricatures sent to the competition will not be sent back.
10. The ranked or unranked caricatures may be used or shared for cultural purposes.
11. No payment will be done for the works that will be exhibited or chosen for album.

Competition Timeline:

• The deadline: On Friday, 20 May 2022.
• The jury evaluation meeting will be held: On Saturday, 28 May 2022.
• The results of the competition will be announced: On Monday, 13 June 2022.
• The award ceremony will be held on a date determined by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality.

Raed Cartoon is a website interested in the field of cartooning in addition to the artist's news and festivals all over the world, founded by the Syrian artist Raed Khalil. Raed Khalil is a Syrian cartoonist born in Syria on March 1, 1973 who started working in publications in 1988. As well, founded the website “Syria Cartoon” and founded the International Cartoon Competition in Syria in 2005.
