The Forrest Research Foundation Fellowship in Australia for Post-Doctoral Researches

The Forrest Research Foundation is offering the Forrest Research Fellowship program for applicants all over the world. Forrest Research Fellowships are open to outstanding early-career researchers of any nationality and working in any discipline; they can be held at any of Western Australia’s five universities.

About the Program:-

• The Forrest Research Fellowship program is designed to accelerate opportunity for outstanding researchers by providing:
• Personalized development plans, mentoring and support.
• Unrivalled access to academic and entrepreneurial leaders, generous funding and career opportunity partnerships.
• A stimulating intellectual environment in Forrest Hall, a place to live, learn and share with a global community of multi-disciplinary researchers.
• Forrest Fellowships are offered to early-stage post-doctoral researchers who have outstanding academic profiles and who have already made significant personal research contributions within and beyond their discipline.

About the Forrest Research Foundation:-

The Forrest Research Foundation was established in 2014 following one of the largest ever philanthropic donations in Australian history, of $65million. The foundation attracts outstanding minds to Western Australia to undertake high quality research with the potential to change the world. The foundation aims to drive research and innovation capacity in Western Australia by awarding Forrest Scholarships to outstanding young intellects from around the world to conduct research at one of Western Australia’s five universities.

• The Forrest Research Foundation will provide funding for
• Salary.
• Accommodation Allowance.
• Relocation and Travel Allowance.
• Forrest Fellows will provide up to 1 day per week to advance the general mission of the Forrest Research Foundation including providing mentoring, ambassadorial and leadership to Forrest Scholars, Forrest Hall and the Forrest Research Foundation.

• To be eligible to apply applicants must be in their final year of PhD or no more than two years post PhD conferral.
• Applicants must reside at Forrest Hall for the duration of the Fellowship.
• Applicants must be intending to meet the requirements of a Forrest Fellow including mentoring of Forrest Scholars, ambassadorial duties for the Forrest Research Foundation and in providing leadership within Forrest Hall.
• Applicants must meet employment eligibility conditions at the nominated university.
