Opportunity description

The WHO Office in the occupied Palestinian territory is seeking a Supply Data Specialist to join their team in East Jerusalem for a 6 month assignment. The specialist will support the Ministry of Health in improving the national health information systems architecture, enhancing interoperability across health programmes, and strengthening the use of digital platforms. The selected volunteer will receive a Volunteer Living Allowance of 9400 ILS provided monthly to cover housing, utilities, and normal cost of living expenses. Life, health, and permanent disability insurance are included. There are no application or processing fees required for this opportunity.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Track the corridor supply chain end to end by consolidating existing WHO supply monitoring datasets.

  • Create dashboard pages for donor specific shipment information and incoming supplies.

  • Track and report the number of pallets and trucks entering Gaza through the corridors.

  • Request weekly pipeline updates from all HLWG partners and integrate them into the dashboard.

  • Support the establishment of a digital platform for receiving transport support requests from partners.

  • Produce weekly and monthly analytical reports for the OSL Lead and Senior Management.

  • Provide visualizations and summaries for internal meetings and donor reporting.

Eligibility criteria

  • The candidate must be between 18 and 80 years old.

  • The candidate must be a national, legal resident, or hold refugee status in the State of Palestine.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Public Health, or another relevant field is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in information management, supply chain analytics, or humanitarian logistics.

  • Proven experience developing dashboards and managing data systems.

  • Strong command of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

  • Native proficiency in Arabic and fluent proficiency in English are required.
