Training Program and Grants for AgriFood Ecosystem Startups from Rockstart

Rockstart is launching the AgriFood Ecosystem Training 2022 to fund and empower purpose-driven founders scaling impactful solutions by leveraging emerging technologies and new business models that improve our food supply system from soil to gut. Rochstart invests in early-stage startups with a focus on agritech and foodtech.

About the Training:-

• Rockstart is especially interested in startups innovating in:
• Alternative packaging & proteins.
• Smell and flavour data.
• Bio alternatives to chemicals and plastic.
• Smart fulfilment & logistics.
• Nutrition tech.
• Upcycled products.
• Tech enabling novel farming systems.
• Tools for farmers to sequestrate CO2.

• The program has more than 200 investors who bring a wide range of expertise and experience, from industry leaders to corporate organizations, as well as institutional investors.
• More than 60 mentors work with select mentors who share to empower purpose-driven founders.
• More than 30 corporate partners support founders in a number of ways, including specialized support and training, customer opportunities, pilot programs and financing.

Participating Projects must fall under one of the following categories:

• Regenerative & future-proof
• Rockstart looks for solutions that restore the soils and oceans to become powerhouses for CO2 capture.
• Responsible & circular
• Rockstart is interested in innovations that create value from wasted food and reduce food loss with sustainable solutions.
• Quantifiable consumption
• Rockstart seeks tools that provide consumers with better access to trustworthy, nutritious food that tastes good and does good.
