The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) is an international organization based in Geneva, founded in 1933. It includes over 1,150 member organizations from more than 170 countries, working to enhance global collaboration in the fight against cancer through training programs, fellowships, seminars, and major conferences like the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit.
The Technical Fellowships provide professionals working in the field of cancer control with the opportunity to gain technical and practical skills through short-term international visits ranging from two weeks to two months. The fellowship aims to transfer knowledge and improve institutional performance in participants’ home countries.

Eligibility criteria
- All nationalities are eligible as long as the applicant works in cancer control and can travel to another country for training.
- Applicant must hold at least a Master’s degree, or an MD with Board certification, or be a licensed RN with a minimum of five years' experience working with cancer patients.
- Must have at least five years of professional or research experience in the field of cancer.
- Not eligible: Medical students or current Master’s/PhD students (even if they already hold a Master's degree).
- The applicant must be officially affiliated with a health or educational institution (hospital, university, cancer registry, association).
- The proposed visit must be to a host institution in a country different from the applicant’s residence, with the required language skills and active communication with a host supervisor.
