Varsity Film Expo for Short Animated Films in the Field of Sustainable Development for Undergraduates

Varsity Film Expo announces Varsity Film Expo 2022 for animated short films. The Varsity Film Expo, scheduled for December 15-16, 2022, is an annual event for emerging undergraduate content creators. The theme of the exhibition this time will be "Africa Motivates the Sustainable Development Goals", which in turn will support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals striving for a better world. The theme is in line with Agenda 2063, Africa's master plan for achieving inclusive and sustainable economic growth and development by 2063. The exhibition mainly targets youth, as they are the bearers of the torch of tomorrow. Africa has the largest number of young people in the world. The fair has chosen university students as they are the biggest drivers of Africa's changing social and economic landscape.

• This event will celebrate film and filmmaking at universities in Africa and features film screenings, speaking sessions, workshops, exhibitions, and awards for outstanding productions.
• The expo program is tailored to satisfy the needs and tastes of young and emerging filmmakers although it’s open to other attendees.
• The Varsity Film Expo is an annual event for emerging content creators at universities.
• It features film screenings, speaking sessions, workshops, exhibitions, a book launch, and awards honoring the best entries.

• The genre of the expo is short animation.
• language of the expo is English and any local languages but you will need to add subtitles.
• The duration of the films should be between 3 and 10 minutes.
• At least one of of the team members, the Writer/Director/Producer should be enrolled at an African University.
• Best short films are going to be selected based on adherence to theme, originality, innovation, and creativity.
• You can submit up to 5 short films only.
