UNV Iraq is currently hiring a team of 50 community volunteers (onsite, full time) and assisting them throughout the recruitment process. Some candidates find the process confusing due to technical skills or language barriers. To address this, the FU plans to create a step-by-step checklist in both English and Arabic. This checklist will guide the newly recruited volunteers on the necessary steps before they integrate into their respective Host Entities. Therefore, we are seeking three online volunteers to help us with designing the recruitment checklist, translating some notes into Arabic, and follow with the recruited volunteers on pending steps.
Volunteer duration and working hours:
1-5 hours per week for 1 week.
Duties & responsibilities
UNV Iraq needs three Online Volunteers to simplify the recruitment process for newly recruited community volunteers (Onsite, full time). The tasks involved are as follows:
- The first Online Volunteer will design a simplified checklist.
- The second Online Volunteer will translate the guiding notes into Arabic and incorporate them into the checklist.
- The third Online Volunteer will provide guidance and follow-up to the newly recruited volunteers on pending steps.
- By participating in this opportunity, the Online Volunteers will gain knowledge about the UNV recruitment process and assist other volunteers in getting settled within their respective host entities.
Eligibility criteria
- Required experience: Professional experience in graphic design - Translation experience - HR and Recruitment experience Those who previously or currently serve as UN Volunteers are encouraged to apply
- Languages: English, Level: Fluent, Desirable Arabic, Level: Fluent, Desirable
