Volunteer Opportunity in the UAE: Organizing the "Ramadan Aman" campaign

Al Ihsan Charity Association is offering a volunteer opportunity to its volunteers to participate in organizing the "Ramadan Aman" campaign for its ninth year, in partnership with the Ministry of Interior, Dubai Police, and in cooperation with all traffic and police departments in the country, under the slogan "Together Ramadan without Accidents". It aims to reduce traffic accidents and excessive speed, by distributing light breakfast meals. On drivers before the Maghrib call to prayer at important traffic intersections and crowded places, with the participation of more than 45,000 volunteers nationwide from various groups of society.

The role of volunteers: is to distribute iftar meals for drivers at traffic signals and intersections.

Instructions for volunteers:

• Arrive one hour before the call to prayer.
• Register attendance with the site supervisor
• Receiving the Vest from the supervisor
• Listening and paying attention to the instructions from the supervisor
• A group photo at the beginning or end of the distribution
• Listening to an explanation of the distribution mechanism
• Not to wear the logo of other volunteer teams, except for those authorized

General instructions:

• Commitment to time
• Listen to the instructions
• The smile
• Good handling
• Listen to the webmaster
• General appearance
• Adhere to safety procedures

Hall instructions:

• Set the location of the diets
• Appointment of equipment installations
• Announce an opportunity to volunteer in takeaway only
• Direct filling of an appropriate amount per day until the end of the month
• Arranging the hall and maintaining general cleanliness
• Daily checking of the health of meals and storing them in a safe place
