Al-Birr Society Jeddah in Saudi Arabia invites all Saudis to volunteer in the Society, either on a daily basis or part-time, according to the agreement between the Society and the volunteer.
Types of Volunteering:
- Permanent Volunteer: the volunteer works continuously.
- Temporary volunteer:
- For a specified period of time or for intermittent periods of time as needed.
- For a specific activity only or for a group of specific activities.
Duties & responsibilities
- Compliance with the laws and regulations specified by the Association.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of information, work tools, and association resources.
- Cooperation, initiative, willingness to volunteer, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to the ethics of volunteering and dealing with it as official work.
- Participation in volunteer activities and events.
- Interpersonal skills.
- No money should be claimed for volunteer work.
- Perform the work assigned to him to the fullest
- Does not use his position for personal benefit or other objectives.
Volunteer Rights:
- Dealing with him in respect, trust, and transparency, and his efforts actually contribute to achieving the goals of the association.
- Inform him in a professional and clear manner of the association's organizations and the information necessary to carry out his duties.
- Help him highlight his abilities and talents.
- Integrating him into the work, and working to employ his energies and abilities to make the most of them.
- Providing guidance and training for the volunteer to be able to carry out the tasks assigned to him efficiently and effectively.
- The volunteer is not obligated to any financial rights except for the expenses necessary to run the business; For example, air tickets.
