Opportunity description
This volunteer opportunity is supported by the European Solidarity Corps at an ecological farm in Santa Margarida de Montbui, Barcelona, Spain. Volunteers participate in activities such as organic farming, tree planting, and environmental protection, as well as caring for vegetables, trees, and livestock, and joining educational workshops on sustainability and eco-farming. The opportunity aims to develop volunteers’ practical skills in ecological agriculture and environmental project management, while gaining hands-on experience in an international environment that fosters learning and cultural exchange.

Eligibility criteria
- Age: 18–30 years
- Interest: Willingness to volunteer and participate in ecological farming activities
- Commitment: Ability to commit to the full project duration (approximately 17 weeks)
- Compliance: Adherence to farm rules and project guidelines
- Eligible EU Countries: Youth from European Union countries such as Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Sweden, etc.
- Eligible ESC Partner Countries: Youth from countries participating in the European Solidarity Corps program, such as Norway, Iceland, Serbia, North Macedonia, Turkey, and other approved program countries
