Essay Writing Competition and Chance to Win a Grant of Up to 870 USD

 MDPI is pleased to announce the “Water 2022 Best Paper Awards” for research and review articles published in Water from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020. The papers will be selected after a thorough evaluation by the journal Award Committee led. This gives you the opportunity to have a grant of up to 800 CHF. The winners will be announced on the journal website in April 2022.

If you are among the winners, you will receive:

•  A certificate.
• An offer to publish a paper free of charge in Water in 2022.
• In addition to: 
• First Place Award (one review paper and one research article): 800 CHF for each (870 USD).
• Second Place Award (one review paper and one research article): 500 CHF for each (544 USD).

You must follow these criteria:

• Papers published in Water from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020.
• Open to all career levels.
• Both regular and Special Issue submissions will be considered.

Selection Criteria:

The papers will be selected based on the following criteria :

1. Scientific merit.
2. Broad impact.
3. Relevance to the journal’s field.
4. The originality of the research objectives.
5. Creativity.
6. Citation.
7. Clarity of presentation.
