Opportunity description
The WriteTime Short Story Competitions provide an exciting opportunity for older writers looking to express their literary creativity. This not-for-profit social enterprise focuses on providing support and encouragement for writers aged over 60 from anywhere in the world.
Submissions should not exceed 1500 words.
- First Prize: £100 for the winning story.
- £50 for each of the runner-up stories.
- Winners and Highly Commended stories are considered for inclusion in the WriteTime Anthology.
- All other writers receive brief feedback free of charge.
Entry Fees:
- £5 for one story.
- £10 for three stories.
Deadlines for submissions are 30 September, 31 December, 31 March, and 30 June.
