Saudi Earth hour


A Saudi team has joined with many environmentalists around the world to form the International Earth Hour Organization by recognizing the importance of caring for and preserving the environment by stopping environmental degradation and depleting the natural resources of the planet and contributing to building a better future for humans to live in harmony with nature. WWF is a global non-profit environmental organization, one of the world's largest independent recognized international organizations with the support of nearly 5 million people and a global network in more than 100 countries. The work in Saudi Arabia started in 2010 in the events activities through continuous work in coordination with many quarters. In 2014, the official headquarters of Land Hour in Saudi Arabia was inaugurated as a legal entity registered with the name and logo of the Earth Hour with ownership rights, and partnerships were held with several government agencies and the private sector to deliver awareness messages about the importance of participation in Earth Hour event. The importance of protecting the environment and rationalizing the use of energy sources.
