About the organization

The Human Brain Project (HBP) is one of the three FET (Future and Emerging Technology) Flagship projects. The Human Brain Project aims to put in place a cutting-edge research infrastructure that will allow scientific and industrial researchers to advance our knowledge in the fields of neuroscience, computing, and brain-related medicine. The HBP provides a framework where teams of researchers and technologists work together to scale up ambitious ideas from the lab, explore the different aspects of brain organisation, and understand the mechanisms behind cognition, learning, or plasticity.
