About the organization

The LUMIX Festival for young visual journalism in Hanover, Germany presents and reflects the young, socially committed visual journalism of the 21st century and actively examines political, cultural, social, ecological and technological processes. The LUMIX Festival testifies the power which photojournalism has in our world, adding fundamentally to human's perception of mankind in all its facets.
