About the organization
Oulu Film Centre is a Finnish non-profit cultural organization dedicated to promoting cinematic culture in Finland, particularly in the northern region. Since 1982, the Centre has been the official organizer of the Oulu International Children’s and Youth Film Festival, one of the oldest and most respected European festivals focused on cinema for young audiences. The Centre aims to showcase high-quality films for children and youth, support film education, encourage intercultural dialogue, and promote the production and distribution of children's films both nationally and internationally.
