About the organization

The University of Turku, established in 1920, has 7 faculties and 11 independent units. There are over 20,000 students and 3,300 staff members. Main themes of the university's strategy are effective research, responsible education, a catalyst for social well-being and the economy, and community well-being. The strategy is based on the common values of the University: ethicality, criticality, creativity, openness and communality.
