The World Literacy Foundation (WLF) is a global not-for-profit that works to lift young people out of poverty through literacy. The Foundation believes that all individuals, particularly those in the poorest countries of the world, should have the same education opportunities we take for granted in the developed world. The foundation uses literacy projects to make a positive impact for the health and well being of children trapped in poverty. With offices and networks in the United Kingdom, United States and Australia, WLF is seeking to have a global impact and boost the quality of literacy programs in the poorest countries in the world. WLF literacy programs aims to build a foundation and assist people to move beyond the cycle of poverty and disease.
