Design with Soul – Culture, Identity & Sustainability

This training is part of the Khairat Al-Dar project by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), implemented by Souq Fann.

This course helps you design products with “the spirit of identity” — products that tell a clear story, inspired by local heritage, yet presented in a contemporary style that fits today’s market.

What will you learn?
•How to transform heritage elements (patterns, colors, symbols, and stories) into practical, executable design ideas.
•How to choose materials responsibly while balancing aesthetics, cost, and sustainability.
•How to connect your product to a clear identity: Why was it designed? Who is it for? What value does it offer?
•How to translate your product story into tangible details: form, finishing touches, colors, packaging, and product description.

Artisans, home-based business owners, designers, and anyone who wants to develop their products to become more distinctive and valuable in the market.

Practical outcomes:
By the end of the course, you will have a product idea (or an improved existing product) with a clear concept and an identity map that you can apply to the product, packaging, and product description.
