An Internship opportunity in Egypt in the Field of Accounting at Signify

Signify is offering for fresh graduates and master’s degree students an internship opportunity for one year in the field of Accounting in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Update accounts payable and performs reconciliations.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Assist with reviewing expenses, as assigned.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist the finance team in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Assist with other accounting projects.

Eligibility

1. Interns must be open-minded, curious and innovative and aligned with the company´s values and aims.
2. Interns must be new Graduates or master’s degree students in the field of Accounting.
3. Interns must have prior experience in Accounting (bookkeeping entries).
4. Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables).
5. Must be flexible, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
6. Pro-active attitude, and able to escalate when necessary.
7. Must be organized, detail-oriented and thorough.
8. Creative problem solver with strong analytical skills.
9. Fluent in Arabic and English.
