GEMS Founders School – Dubai is offering a job opportunity for a Lead PE Teacher to join the school team starting in January 2027 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Duties & responsibilities
Teach Physical Education (PE) and deliver engaging, motivating lessons that help students develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
Plan and deliver lessons in line with the British curriculum and GCSE and A-Level requirements.
Use a range of teaching and assessment methods to address different student abilities and learning needs.
Monitor student progress and provide the necessary support and guidance to improve performance.
Maintain an inclusive, safe, and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and development.
Collaborate with teachers and team members to achieve departmental and school objectives.
Contribute to a school culture that promotes teamwork, excellence, and student wellbeing.
Participate in the continuous improvement of teaching practices and make use of professional training and development opportunities.
Comply with child safeguarding and student safety policies and procedures adopted by GEMS Education.
Eligibility criteria
Hold a bachelor’s degree in a field related to Physical Education.
Hold a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Have between 3 and 6 years of teaching experience.
Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching Physical Education and motivating students.
Have experience or knowledge of teaching GCSE and/or A-Level.
Possess strong knowledge of teaching, assessment, and differentiation methods suited to students of different ability levels.
Be able to create an inclusive, engaging, and interactive learning environment.
Have excellent communication, organization, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Be committed to child safeguarding and student wellbeing policies.
