UNICEF is offering a job opportunity in nutrition and public health to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nutrition programs in Sudan, with a focus on responding to humanitarian needs and supporting the most vulnerable groups, including internally displaced persons and refugees.
The Nutrition Officer will support program development, needs analysis, monitoring of resources and results, and provide technical and operational support to government partners, non-governmental organizations, and United Nations agencies. The role also includes contributing to partnership building, reporting, resource mobilization, and capacity building for partners.

Duties & responsibilities
Contribute to nutrition situation analysis and the development of objectives, strategies, and plans for nutrition programs.
Monitor program implementation and resources, and prepare progress reports for donors and management.
Conduct field visits and provide technical support to partners and government institutions.
Build partnerships with national authorities, organizations, and stakeholders in the nutrition sector.
Support knowledge management, innovation, capacity building, and resource mobilization.
Eligibility criteria
A bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, public health, epidemiology, health management, global health, maternal and child health, international development, biostatistics, health policy, or a related health field.
At least 2 years of professional experience in nutrition, health, nutrition in emergencies, program management, monitoring and evaluation, humanitarian response, or related fields.
Experience in situation analysis, program development, program management, monitoring and evaluation, technical support, and partnership building.
Fluency in both Arabic and English.
Experience with international organizations, humanitarian response, refugee support, or fragile settings is considered an additional advantage.
